It was so hard watching our boss stress over getting new drivers, so when she got more good applicants than she needed, I was happy for her. The fact that I had to watch everyone else get ready for summer school and next school year, and I couldn't jump in and volunteer to drive MY bus and haul MY kids was an expected twinge, but that didn't make it feel any better.
