Was it a long, cold, depressing winter? Or was I just avoiding the creative process? Hmm

In November, Estrella started looking for a Christmas tree.

We delivered to Orlando, then stayed in Bushnell so we could visit Chris & Mike!

A plaid barn in Pattersonville, NY caught my eye!

We Christmased in Moody, AL. The dogs loved the huge dog park!
(Notice the great parking spot at the end of the dog pen!)

We managed to get to Bellefontaine for New Year's and had some visitors!

Starting the New Year in California. Evidently it was magically delicious!

When the rest of the US was expecting Snowmaggeddon, we were in El Paso. This was the biggest part of the snow they received. We got to witness the sum total of their winter!

The end of January found us in Amish Country, it was clear but COLD.

In February, after dropping off in Dallas first thing in the morning, seeing a beautiful sunrise on our way home for a weekend break lifted our spirits.

Winter in the truck was weird. The cold weather hit us before we were prepared, so we walked around with extra sweatshirts on for a couple weeks before we made our way to Ohio where our winter coats were stored. Once we had our coats with us, it took a few weeks before we needed them again. Most of the time we could run from the truck into the truckstop without getting very cold. Then we got back up north. IT. WAS. COLD!!! That was when we broke out the coats and kept them close at hand! Then we went back down south. Pants and long sleeve shirts, but we didn't need our coats. Then we went down on the Rio Grande! 90 degrees in early March! I had to break out the shorts that I had boxed up! Oh well, now I guess I just have to keep some summer clothes and some winter clothes until this season change is actually finished up north!
